BKB Code of Conduct

BKB's Position on Glitching/Modding:

We feel that BKB was formed with the common bond of wanting to play games the right way, and this new community will be at its optimum if all members play games the right way, even if for fun. Team killing friends is something we all love to do at times (not when trying to win

), but any member in BKB known to cheat will be reprimanded in some way, including being asked to leave the community depending on severity. Now of course there are exceptions. In a game with a room of just BKB players or some private match, glitching something for fun would be tolerated, and it's all in fun. The firm stance we take is for competitive, online ranked matches. We know this won't be a problem because people that join BKB are attracted to our community because we play the right way.
*Anyone who uses a modded controller will be most likely banned permanently upon a staff review of the specific situation.

BKB's rules on language:

At BKB we will not tolerate crude, offensive language that may in any way offend a member of our community. That said, we are not a group of squares, and we do swear sometimes, so that is ok. Just be respectful to our female members, and absolutely NO racially offensive language will be tolerated when directed at BKB Community members. Anyone using such language will have their post edited or deleted, and will receive a warning message regarding the post in question. Repeat offenders will have their membership to BKB revoked. All decisions made by the Moderators and Admins regarding this policy are final.

Signature and Avatar Guidelines:

You are free to express yourself in a creative way. In your signature, you are not allowed an image that is more than 500px x 200px. You are allowed one large or 2 small images along with two lines of text. Additionally, we request that all avatars and signatures be respectful in nature i.e. no porn, racist/hate symbols, or extreme violence. Most of our members do access this board from their respective jobs and that is the primary reason behind this particular stipulation. These guidelines are in place to keep our boards clean while still allowing freedom of expression.

BKB's Position on Competitive Gaming:

The BKB Gaming Community roots spring from casual gaming. When the opportunity presents itself, the community will participate in a number of games at a competitive or Clan level, either through a third party website or the game itself. At present, there are few opportunities to partake in such events; however we may be expanding into Clan action soon.

What games do BKB members play and support?

We love all games! If you are interested in a game, talk about it! Play it!

Respect of other BKB and Non BKB.

Personal attacks are not encouraged. However, if you have a problem with someone, please start a thread in General XBOX discussion, and tell the community what your issue is. We feel this is the best way to handle these situations, instead of sweeping them under the rug, so to speak. Please keep the conversation as clean as possible, and the other members of the community will chime in with their two cents. This goes for anyone from General Public to Admins.

Maturity

There is no age limit to join. However, someone who is young and acts really immature should probably not play with the more serious players until that person learns how to play a little more serious.

Putting BKB in your Gamer Tag.

It's not a requirement, nor a rule. We respect people who do not wish for the added grief of the "
Clan" tag. The only thing we ask of our members is that you put something in regards to the site in your XBL profile, if at all possible.
